Terms of sale, free trial and refunds
Plain-English draft for lawyer review. Not legal advice. Nothing here is final until reviewed.
1. Who we are
The Wise Call is operated by Ansolabs Pty Ltd (ACN 615 283 693), Sydney, Australia ("we", "us"). Questions: hello@thewisecall.com.au.
2. What The Wise Call is, and is not
The Wise Call helps managers prepare for hard conversations at work, practise them, and keep a proper record of the steps they took. It includes short courses, an AI coach called Ollie, and tools to plan, rehearse and record conversations.
It is a support tool. It is not legal, medical, psychological or HR advice, and it does not replace your organisation's work health and safety systems, policies or professional advisers. Ollie is an AI coach: it can be wrong, and you should check anything important with HR or a qualified adviser. You and your organisation stay responsible for your workplace decisions.
If you or someone else is at risk of harm, call 000. For support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
3. What you buy
You buy 12 months of access for your organisation to one plan:
- Starter: the full course library, starter practice scenarios, conversations and insights.
- Starter Plus: everything in Starter, plus the full practice library.
You buy access in packs. Each pack gives you 5 manager places. Your organisation also gets up to 3 admin places at no extra cost, whatever number of packs you buy. An admin can also use The Wise Call as a manager. For example, 3 packs give you 15 manager places and up to 3 admins.
Access belongs to your organisation, not to an individual. The person who buys becomes your organisation's first admin.
4. Price and GST
Prices are per pack, per year, in Australian dollars, plus GST. GST at 10% is added at checkout and shown separately on your tax invoice.
| Plan | Launch | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $200 + GST | $350 + GST |
| Starter Plus | $350 + GST | $499 + GST |
Launch pricing: if you buy before 21 April 2027, you pay the launch price. We will confirm whether that price is kept on later subscriptions.
We may offer discount codes from time to time. A code applies only to the purchase it is used on, under the conditions shown with it, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Paying
You pay once, at checkout, through our payment provider Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. You will receive a receipt and a tax invoice by email. We will not charge you again automatically.
6. Getting started
- Create your account with the same email address you paid with, and verify it.
- We set up your organisation on your plan within the hour during the launch event. You will see your plan when you next open the app.
- To add managers or extra admins, open Support, add them to your organisation, then send the invite. Each person registers with that email and joins on your plan, up to the places you have bought.
If you paid with a different email address, contact us and we will match it up.
7. Your 12 months, and what happens next
Your access runs for 12 months from the date you paid. Before that ends, we will email you with the option to continue on an annual subscription. If you choose not to continue, your organisation moves to our free plan: your account stays, and you keep access to the free content.
8. Adding packs during the year
You can buy more packs at any time. How an extra pack's 12 months lines up with your original year is still to be confirmed.
9. Free trial
A no-card free trial is planned. The plan it unlocks, how long it lasts, and whether it is for one person only will be confirmed before it is offered. When a trial ends, the account moves to the free plan automatically and we will not charge you.
10. Refunds and cancellations
Change of mind: if you are not happy, tell us within 14 days of paying and we will refund you in full. This window is a draft and may change after legal review.
After that, we do not refund unused time just because you stop using The Wise Call, except where the law requires us to.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If The Wise Call has a major failure, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused portion, or compensation for the drop in value. If there is a minor failure, we will fix it within a reasonable time, and if we don't, you can get a refund.
Email hello@thewisecall.com.au with your organisation name and the email you paid with. We aim to reply within 2 business days. Refunds go back to the card you paid with. If we refund your purchase, your organisation moves to the free plan.
11. Using The Wise Call properly
You must not misuse the service, try to access other people's or other organisations' private content, share your login, or use The Wise Call in a way that breaks the law. We may suspend or end access for misuse, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
12. Your content and records
Records you create belong to you. We are not a vault: we keep working records only for as long as our privacy notice says, and attested records are given to you rather than stored by us. Content you export or put into your organisation's systems is governed by your organisation's policies. See our Privacy Notice.
13. Availability and changes
We work to keep The Wise Call available, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features. If a change takes away a core part of the plan you paid for, you can ask for a pro-rata refund for the remaining time.
14. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to resupplying the service or refunding what you paid for the current 12 months. This does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be limited.
15–17. Privacy, changes, and law
How we collect, use and protect personal information is set out in our Privacy Notice.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects a plan you have already paid for, it applies from your next renewal, unless you agree earlier.
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
